How do I add a vehicle?

Go to the Vehicles tab and tap the "+" button. Enter your vehicle's year, make, model, and current odometer reading. You can also optionally add a VIN number.

How do I update my odometer?

Open a vehicle from the Vehicles tab, then tap "Update Odometer." Enter your current mileage. DriveIQ uses manual odometer entries only and does not track your location.

How do maintenance reminders work?

DriveIQ uses a "whichever comes first" system based on both mileage and time intervals. When a maintenance item is due based on either your mileage or the number of days since the last service, it will appear as "Due Soon" or "Overdue" on your dashboard.

Can I share vehicles with family members?

Yes. The Family Plan allows up to 5 members to share vehicle tracking. The account owner can invite members and assign vehicles to specific people.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find DriveIQ and select Cancel Subscription. Your features remain active until the end of your billing period.

Does DriveIQ track my location?

No. DriveIQ does not use GPS, location tracking, or motion data. All odometer updates are entered manually. The only time location is used is the optional SOS feature, which requests permission only when you tap "Find Nearby" to locate a tow truck or mechanic.

What vehicle types are supported?

DriveIQ supports cars, pickup trucks, and semi-trucks/commercial vehicles. Free plan users can track cars and pickups. Pro and Fleet plans include all vehicle types with specialized maintenance schedules.

How do I restore my purchases?

Go to Settings, then tap your current plan under Subscription. On the Plans screen, tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom. This will sync any active subscriptions with your Apple ID.

Troubleshooting

App not loading

Force close the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, make sure you have the latest version installed.

Data not syncing

Check your internet connection. DriveIQ requires a network connection to sync your vehicle and maintenance data.

Can't sign in

Try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in screen. Check your email for the reset link.

Missing features

Some features require a paid subscription. Check your current plan in Settings to see what's included.
